Sense Company has been named "Tilburg Company of the Month. Tilburg Companies of the Month are ambassadors for Tilburg. Sense Company receives the award because this decisive company has expanded in a short time, is still growing and has its own development and production company with a large client base throughout Europe. In short, not only a top ambassador for our municipality, but also a growing employer.
Worker Berend de Vries (Economy) presented the award during a visit on Oct. 11. "Sense Company is an example of an organization with ambition that reaches far beyond our city and national borders. With leading clients and close cooperation with well-known Tilburg companies, they anchor their economic position in our municipality and contribute to the entrepreneurial climate in the city."
Sense Marketing
Sense Company considers itself a leader in innovation, quality and sustainability when it comes to scent marketing and scent experience. The basis for this is formed by in-house research, the internal development department and the assembly of the products in their premises in Tilburg (J. Asselbergsweg 62 in industrial area Het Laar). Founder and owner Ewoud Kuyper: "Here our own developers and technicians are busy developing and coming up with new fragrance solutions and existing solutions are optimized. As a result, we maintain control over the development process, manufacturing and have complete control over the entire production."
Look beyond your nose
Sense Company is pioneering its way through the fragrance industry and now employs about 15 people. The expectation is to grow to as many as 25 employees within a year. They have been a market leader in smart fragrance solutions in the sauna & wellness, sports & fitness, healthcare and leisure industries for nearly 10 years. Their clients include Holland Casino, Schiphol Airport, Ziggo Dome, Willem II, Zorgcentrum 't Laar, Landal and DeLaMar Theater. But the ambition extends further. Ewoud explains: "Smell is our passion and its added value is still underestimated. That while our nose, after the eyes, is the most important sense that stimulates us consciously and subconsciously, directs our emotions and influences behavior. Our ambition reaches far. But we can. Our self-developed online techniques enable us to create smiles far beyond national borders. We monitor failures, vacancies, and settings of our scent systems remotely so that we always know what our clients need. This has resulted in clients in Ireland, England, France, Spain, Italy, Middle East, Canada and of course with our base in Benelux. We would like to expand this with fixed distribution points, partners or our own organizations."
With a young and driven team, fully engaged in innovations in new fragrance solutions and applications in various markets, Sense Company wants to become the largest in Europe in their field. They have competition from five parties, but Sense Company is the only manufacturer in this. Ewoud: "Tilburg is the ideal base for our growth plans."
