Our scents reach millions of people every day—both at home and abroad. Incredibly beautiful, but this also means that we bear responsibility for our scents' effects on all these people. And we take that responsibility very seriously. Safety comes first, and we ensure that our scents' effects are only positive. Expressed in unexpected smiles. We want everyone to be able to enjoy our scents without worries. To ensure this, we work together with the best perfume houses and use the same compositions of ingredients. In addition, we adhere to strict safety standards. We work according to the standards of IFRA (International Fragrance Association). These form the basis of the globally accepted and recognised risk management system for the safe use of scents. They are part of the IFRA Code of Practice. This is the industry's self-regulatory system, based on risk assessments by an independent panel of experts. Products can be tested at any time to verify compliance. Safety first!

Our scent oils and your health

Maybe all this terminology doesn't mean much to you, and you want to know how good our scent oils are for your health. A fair question! We can answer that the oils are guaranteed not to affect your health when used as intended. This means nebulising the oil into the air via our scent device. As with many other products, it is not the intention to ingest them. Sounds logical, but we want to say it anyway.

In short, there is no need to worry about allergic reactions, headaches, lung problems or other health issues. However, whether you find the smell pleasant or the intensity too strong is subjective. But even in that case, it is not harmful. If you do experience symptoms, check the other factors in the room. For example, is there enough ventilation? Or are there other environmental aspects that can be experienced as unpleasant?

Essential and non-essential oils

You may wonder if there is a difference between our essential (natural) and non-essential (synthetic) oils. Indeed, many providers of essential oil products often use the words 'one hundred per cent pure oil', 'natural oil' and 'green oil' in their expressions. They present that no chemical processes are involved in their production as something that offers advantages. As the best choice.

But are these implied facts like "chemical is bad" and "natural is good" true? The answer is "no". Essential oils can be just as safe as they are unsafe as non-essential oils. Therefore, you should not ask whether an oil product is non-essential or essential. The question you should be asking is whether an oil product is safe.
