Our scent factory: a sustainable home

Our scent factory is built with both people and the planet in mind. We use underfloor heating combined with a heat pump to extract energy from the ground, reducing our reliance on gas and lowering our CO2 emissions.

A green sedum roof not only insulates the building, but also supports biodiversity and collects rainwater. The water we collect is used for tasks like flushing toilets. And we keep thinking ahead: solar panels and expanding our electric vehicle fleet are already on the agenda. Step by step, we continue to improve our impact.

Smart technology for sustainable use

Our online scent system, with its accompanying app, gives both us and our customers full insight into how the systems are working. We can monitor remotely, answer questions and see when maintenance is needed. The result? Faster service and fewer unnecessary journeys for our scent technicians.

With our Smart Service subscription, our customers also have full control via the app or portal. Smart scent schedules allow them to decide exactly how and when the system disperses scent oil, avoiding any waste. This makes scent experiences smarter, more sustainable and much more efficient.

Sustainability for our team

Sustainability starts with ourselves, and that applies to our team too. At Sense Company, we make sure our employees come to work with a smile.

We create a pleasant working environment and encourage health and wellbeing: a freshly prepared lunch together every day, our own fitness space, and opportunities for personal development. More than half of our team cycles or drives electrically to work, we separate waste and plan efficiently. Step by step, we bring our sustainable values into everyday work life.

Recognition by EcoVadis

Since April 2024, we have held the EcoVadis Committed Badge, and in March 2025 we earned the Silver EcoVadis Badge. This recognition highlights our ongoing commitment to sustainability and corporate social responsibility.

EcoVadis evaluates companies worldwide on environmental impact, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. Our badge shows that we are serious about protecting the environment, ensuring fair working conditions and conducting business ethically. All with one goal: a more sustainable world.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

We are aware of our role in society, and CSR is a core part of our business model. Our CSR activities include:
