Where every detail feels just right. An evening at DeLaMar is a complete experience where everything comes together. From the moment you enter to the final applause. Behind the scenes, the theatre wanted to strengthen that sense of experience even further, down to the smallest spaces. DeLaMar wanted to offer its guests a perfect experience. Even in the restrooms. “Because our restrooms are located below ground level, it was difficult for us to guarantee a pleasant atmosphere throughout the day,” explains Deputy Director Robert Gruijt. The goal: a fresh, inviting scent experience that fits the elegant atmosphere of the theatre.

Solution

We connected our scent systems to the existing air supply system. “The new Sense scent machine is a great solution,” says Gruijt. “The big advantage? We can adjust the scent intensity in each restroom based on the expected visitor peaks.” This keeps the air fresh and pleasant at all times. Even on the busiest theatre nights.

Since introducing scent, the atmosphere at DeLaMar feels complete. Guests feel more welcome, employees experience greater comfort, and the ambience perfectly matches the theatre’s refined character. Or, as we like to call it: spreading smiles.
