An experience that engages all senses. At The Upside Down Amsterdam, the focus is all on experience. Europe’s largest Instagram museum immerses visitors in a world full of colour, light and now… scent. How do you make an already spectacular concept even more immersive? The Upside Down wanted scent as part of the overall experience, so visitors feel fully part of the “ultimate Instagrammable Dutch Experience”.

Solution

We themed all 25 rooms and sets, covering 1500 m², with different scents. Each scent profile matches the atmosphere and theme of its room. The scent systems were subtly integrated into the décor to create a seamless experience.
